NAM (2024) (C64 & PLUS/4)
A downloadable game
This is a remake of Dr. Flash's 1989 short text adventure game originally written for the Commodore Plus/4. You can find it here.
The remake translates the original German text to English, replaces the command line controls to choosable options via joystick, and generally makes the game somewhat more colorful.
The translation was done via Google Translate, and though I eliminated the obvious bugs, there might be questionable expressions remaining. Also there are oddities I left in to better represent the original game.
Since the code wasn't difficult even after the changes, I ported the game to the Commodore 64's CBM BASIC 2.0 as well.

Very nice game and interesting story, reminds me of my childhood, thank you. I also added it to my new "Gameplay of New C64 Games from April 2024" video.
DeepL does much better translations than Google translate, maybe give it a try?
