Eight Links (Commodore 64)
A downloadable game
Eight Links is a Commodore 64 variant of 8 Links by Anton, a seemingly simple puzzle game where you have to put down tiles with links to their neighbors and create the longest possible chain of connected tiles for a greater score. In this game, however, the object is somewhat simpler: just find as many connections as possible for each tile on the same 4x4 grid. This small change affects scoring but the core ideas remain the same.
Collect your score until you can't anymore. You will either run out of empty tiles or you'll give up eventually (with the SPACE key), but the point is to break your high score in the next try.
